The Horsepower and Powertrain
The performance model of Tesla model S offers three phases of AC induction of 416 horsepower or around 310 kW. Meanwhile, the AC induction also has 4 poles. It also features the 443 ft-lb rear mounted electric motor equipped by the copper rotor.

Lately, on March 2017, one of the Tesla Model S variants, P100D broke the record of ‘ the Fastest Acceleration of any Production Vehicle’ in the ludicrous mode.
